| South Gate to Grant Village
Grant Village is located on the shore of Yellowstone Lake. The South Gate is located approximately 50 miles north of Jackson Hole, Wyoming and is open approximately May 12th (maybe earlier but that what is published) through November 6th. There is a large hotel, a concessionaire operated campground (425 sites), two Hamilton General stores, a post office and a service station with towing and repair service at Grant Village. Lewis Lake campground is located between Grant Village and the South Gate and has 85 sites. The South Gate exits into the Grand Teton National Park which has some of the most beautiful lake and mountain scenery in the Rocky Mountains. The Park Service entry fee paid at either park includes entry into both parks for seven days. There are many additional campgrounds and lodging facilities in the Teton's.
