North Gate

North gate. 50 Miles south of I-90 and Livingston, MT. Two campgrounds and several motels are located in the town of Gardiner, Montana. National Park campground (85 sites open all year) and Hotel at the Mammoth Hot Springs area along with a Hamilton General store, restaurant and fast food stop, post office, medical clinic, gas station and visitor center. Mammoth Hot Springs is the park headquarters and the visitor center contains a very impressive museum. The North Gate is the only gate that is open year round. Located halfway between Mammoth Hot Springs and Norris Junction is the Indian Creek campground with 75 sites open 6/9/00 to 9/18/00.
